Claims Scope:

A lentiviral vector transfer system.  This application has the earliest priority date for the AGT non-integrating viral vector system.

System and composition to a self-inactivating transfer vector free of wPRE;  

multiple gene units each operably linked to a regulatory sequence;  

a mammalian insulator sequence; and  

a helper construct lacking a 5’ LTR and replaced with a heterologous promoter, further having a non-functional envelope protein and a non-functional packaging sequence.
