Lola Liao, CPA

Lola Liao is Director of HR & Administration at American Gene Technologies®, where she oversees accounting and finance activities and reporting, including tax preparation, Maryland Innovation Investment Tax credit documentation, and business entity filings; human resources, including assisting with new hires, benefits, terminations, payroll processing, compliance recordkeeping, and related HR functions; supporting the COVID department through vendor negotiation, purchasing, clinic and patient billing, payment processing and revenue tracking; lead admin and office operations, including event planning and coordination, building management, and hospitality; and multiple other support functions.

Lola is a Certified Public Accountant in the state of Maryland, with a BS in accounting from the University of Maryland (College Park). Prior to her promotion, she was Senior Accounting Manager at American Gene™. Previously, Lola held finance and accounting-related positions with the nonprofit Council for Interior Design Qualification, Inc. (Washington, D.C.), Comtech Micro System, Inc. (Fairfax, Virginia), and Solarism Display Inc. (Fairfax, Virginia).
