David Hardy MD

Dr. David Hardy, MD is a nationally recognized expert in infectious diseases, with over three decades of experience in HIV research, treatment, and clinical care. He has held leadership roles in both academic medicine and the biopharmaceutical industry, contributing to the development and evaluation of numerous antiretroviral therapies and HIV cure strategies.

Dr. Hardy served as Associate Professor of Medicine at UCLA and later as Chief of the Division of Infectious Diseases at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center. He has also held senior medical leadership roles at biotech companies focused on viral immunology and gene therapy, where he played a critical role in advancing innovative treatments from early research through clinical trials.

In addition to his research and clinical work, Dr. Hardy has been an influential voice in HIV education and advocacy. He has served on advisory boards for the NIH, CDC, and several pharmaceutical companies, and has authored or co-authored over 100 peer-reviewed publications and clinical guidelines.
