Nick Tressler, MBA, is the Chief Financial Officer of American Gene Technologies®. Nick has more than 20 years of experience as a strategic financial executive, enterprise leader, and operational business partner in the life sciences, biopharmaceutical, and technology industries with a focus on maximizing stakeholder value.
Nick previously held a variety of senior roles at life sciences and technology companies. He was Chief Financial Officer at Senseonics, a public medical technology company that develops and commercializes continuous glucose monitoring (CGM) systems for people with diabetes. Nick was Vice President, Financial Planning and Analysis at Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, Inc., which was acquired by Mallinckrodt Pharmaceuticals. He was Site Controller at AstraZeneca PLC, and held financial leadership roles at MedImmune LLC, Corvis Corporation, and Honeywell International.
In addition, Nick’s advisory and consulting experience spans a wide range of projects for start-up, public, and private companies in the life sciences and technology industries.
Nick holds an MBA from Johns Hopkins University, a BS in Finance from the University of Maryland and executive education in leadership from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.
